Magento - Adding a Slider

This article will give details on how to add a slider to the Petremedies and Bestflea sites.

To add the slider 

To add an overlay text and button.

Once the slider is created you can add a text overlay that will appear and disappear as you require, at the same time as the slide or at a specific time during the slide.

The following information should give you a general guidance on how to do this. 

1. Once the slide image is in place click on Add Text Layer (located above the image)
2. Click on the new box under 'Layer Timing & Sorting' 
3. In the layer General Perimeters you can change settings, detailed below is the most common settings to change 
   1. Select the width & hight (this is shown in % of the overall slider eg 100 = 100% of the slider)
   2. You can change the location of the text within the location specified above
   3. You can change the text style and size
4. In the Layer animation you will be able to change the animation settings:
   1. Timing of entering or exiting
   2. From which direction the text slides in from
   3. In the Text/ HTML box you are able to specify the what text appear on the slider and whether the text is hyperlink to a url.  This will need to be entered in HTML.  Examples of HTML is given below

This will allow for you to add a URL, you can change the URL and the text that is displayed
